β I finally published my income report for September 2024. π β It's super late...I know. β In case you didn't know I live in Tampa, Florida and was subjected to the torment of hurricane Milton. β We're safe. Our home is safe. We didn't have any damage or flooding minus a few branches falling down, but we did lose power for 6 days.

It's amazing how fast you start to go stir crazy with no power (and a 12 month old who hates not having her sound machine). β βFortunately we didn't have to stay stuck in our house without power and were able to move in with my in-laws for a few days while the power situation was resolved. β βHighlights of my income report:
1). I made $8,515.20 - which is my lowest month of the whole year. Super interesting since I felt like September was my busiest month and my most stressed month. β β2). I spent $1,362.70 - on contractors, software and coffee when I'm working out of the house and don't want to mooch off of a business for free. β β3). I celebrated my daughter's first birthday, completed a weird goal to not save money and launched a new product! β βOverall it was an ok month. Not my best, not my worst but I was more stressed out last month. Writing this income report made me see that some of that stress was just totally internal stuff I didn't actually need to be worrying about.

PS - When I wrote the income report I had a gross revenue of $98,943.75 which means that since then I have officially crossed over the six-figure mark for the year! β I've made six-figures the last several years but there's big parts of this year that have felt more challenging. β However much money you've made this year Reader - YOU'RE DOING A GOOD JOB. β Please use this email as just an example, not the exact roadmap to running a business. Every single time I publish an income report people tell me I make a ton of money and other people tell me my business is embarrassing and I should do something different. β My goal here is just transparency and normalizing that everyone's business, finances and tolerance level of not having power (which mine is low!) is totally different.
