Hey Reader, February taught me TWO things. 1. Rolling babies cause chaos. 2. And public accountability works! One of these kept me awake at 2am. The other is the reason I finally started making real progress on one of my big goals for 2026. Here's a full recap of my February! Income: $7,752.68 All of my money this month came from one-to-one client work. No affiliate income. No digital product sales. Just good old-fashioned client work - which I do actually enjoy. What I spent money on this month→ My website hosting renewed ($326 — Showit, affiliate link) → My (Convert)Kit account renewed ($590 — also an affiliate link) → Some fairly boring office supplies (printer ink, computer paper, a bunch of pens, new laptop case) → We also finally finished the accent wall in my husband's office How are my 2026 goals going?1️⃣ Launch a new digital offer LOTS of progress here! And honestly writing last month’s recap (where I had to admit I made zero progress on this while launching multiple client offers) was the push I needed. So I finally started working on it. If you want a sneak peek when it’s ready, you can click here and I’ll put you on the waitlist. I’ll give you one hint: it has something to do with writing really good emails. I know that’s a little mysterious right now, but I promise I’ll share more soon. 2️⃣ Consistent weekly emails Doing it and you're reading one of them! 3️⃣ Create 3 new opt-ins One of these is officially in the works! One of the best ways you grow your business is regularly creating new things that people want. 4️⃣ Save at least $24,000 for retirement Still waiting on final tax numbers before making any moves here. 5️⃣ Upgrade and organize our home Some progress here!
My four-month-old learned how to roll over this month. Which was very exciting… until he started rolling onto his stomach at 2am and waking up confused about how to get back. I also completely cleaned out my business inbox and reorganized all my labels, which felt SO SATISFYING. Overall February felt really steady. Client work is going well, and some behind-the-scenes projects in my business are finally moving. I love the feeling of momentum. ❤️ Mara P.S. — Did you notice the new email template?

Yuck Reader, I really didn't want to write this email. But you kind of made me. A few weeks ago I asked a bunch of biz friends what they find interesting about me. (Pro tip: if you don't know what to write about, ask other people what they this is interesting about you.) One of said biz buds said: "You should talk more about what your most successful clients are doing." I shrugged it off... then dropped it as an option for what to send next in my last email. Whoopsie. That's the one you all...
Hey Reader, 👇 A subscriber sent me this last week. My first reaction was... wow this is so nicely written. My second reaction was... dang Natalie is extremely right. Want to visit my website? Find out who I actually am? GOOD LUCK, Reader. I've made it nearly possible to do that. The fix is obvious. I'll add my links and bio going forward. (👋 Hi Natalie, I'm on it.) But the real problem is bigger than a link. I'm sort of in the middle of a whole business evolution right now. To be clear → this...
📌 New here? You picked a fun email to start with! This is my monthly recap, where I share how much money I made, how business is going, and any progress on my goals. No kids. No...
